NARSP Dental & Vision Program

Open enrollment is almost here! That means no waiting periods for all covered services! To take advantage of it now, select a coverage start date of September 1 or October 1.

NARSP's group dental and vision plans provide excellent value and superior coverage!  The only requirement to participate in one or both of these plans is membership with NARSP. If you are currently not a member, click here to visit their main website and join.

Dental Plan:
The dental insurance plan is underwritten by Ameritas Life Insurance Corp. and enables you to use any dentist you choose.  However, if you select a network dentist, services are discounted from 20-30%. To locate a network dentist in your area, click here, or call Ameritas at 1-888-239-3336.
You will enjoy first-day access to Type 1, 2, and 3 services if you have had twelve months of continuous coverage with no more than a 60-day lapse in coverage. If you have no prior coverage, or a lapse of more than 60 days, you will enjoy first-day access to Type 1 and Type 2 services with only a twelve month waiting period for Type 3 services. However, when you apply during open enrollment, all waiting periods are waived.

Vision Plan:
When visiting a VSP network provider, you will receive an eye exam and lenses once every twelve months and frames provided once every twenty-four months after a minimal co-pay. With VSP, your eye exam is fully covered after a $15 co-pay and your prescription glasses are fully covered up to your allowances after a $25 co-pay. To locate a VSP doctor in your area, click here, or call 1.800.877.7195.
